Charlie specialises in leadership development, team facilitation and strategy development.
Charlie worked for over 20 years in the not-for-profit sector. Before joining =mc ten years ago, she created and implemented a development programme to build the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of partner organisations around the world.
Over the next few months, my main focus is on management and leadership programmes, with a wide range of customers.
I am currently delivering a bespoke modular leadership programme for Sussex University. The programme launched at the end of February and is followed by seven modules on a range of leadership topics.
Over the next few months, I am looking forward to working with Islington Council. I am delivering a bespoke leadership programme, Leading with CARE, designed around their values.
I am now planning a Management Development Programme for Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. We first delivered this programme in 2019, and this will be the third cohort. The programme focuses on effective people management, as well as project management and change. And I’m really looking forward to being back in the beautiful city of Liverpool.
As well as leadership and management programmes, I am also delivering a tailored Project Management training for Trussell Trust, based around their approach to projects, as well as Facilitation Skills for B-Lab.
Before joining =mc I worked within the international not-for-profit sector in the UK and in Asia, for organisations such as Plan International and World Animal Protection. In my last role I was responsible for leading a global team. We created a development programme for partner organisations to support their long-term sustainability and impact. This involved helping the organisations to run a self-assessment of their capacity. Followed by bespoke support on strategic planning, board development, leadership, fundraising etc.
I am very passionate about the ethical sector and about developing individuals and teams to achieve sustainable results. I also love working with senior management teams, helping them to prioritise, create effective internal collaboration and shape their culture. And overall to remove any obstacles that get in the way of staff delivering excellence.
