Managing Change
Our customers ask us to work with them to identify key roles to implement change; map and plan key steps, establish risk analysis, and communicate change internally and with stakeholders.
The key to success is effective planning, pacing, communication and leadership. We help customers navigate the complexities – and potential pitfalls – of introducing change into their organisations.
How we help
- Identifying or clarifying the key drivers of change
- Creating a case for change and communicating change powerfully
- Identifying potential sources of resistance and overcoming them
-
Building momentum for change among board members, managers, staff and stakeholders
The =mc approach
Our priority in any change process is to achieve sustainable change that leads to significant performance improvement. We normally establish a ‘change team’ and work closely with them throughout the change process to ensure maximum ownership.
We provide a range of interventions, including:
- Analysing the case for change and its likelihood of success
- Coaching and training ‘change teams’ to become change agents
- Providing ‘behind the scenes’ support for senior managers introducing complex change
-
Managing change projects
Our customers
We’ve helped a range of organisations in the UK charity, INGO and public sectors introduce change. For example:
• We worked with the National Trust for Scotland to help establish a new organisational culture to support its new strategy
• We helped Groundwork London coordinate a consultation process to secure agreement for change
• We introduced a New Ways of Working programme to Christian Aid’s International Department to establish a more creative, innovative and dynamic culture
