To develop your people, you need to know what their current performance is, assess those levels against your competency framework, and then prioritise development areas.
There are a number of ways that we can help:
Assessment and development centres
Assessment and development centres use systematic work simulations, interviews, exercises or psychometric assessments that individuals complete over a timed period – anything from a couple of hours to a number of days. The result is a comprehensive profile of individuals' competencies.
We can help you to select and design appropriate exercises, carry out assessements and feedback to participants. We can also train others in your organisation to be observers.
Competency assessment tool
This is an online 360o assessment tool that enables you to benchmark the competencies of an individual or team against best practice. =mc have developed this unique tool to use with senior teams and boards, and have already used it with a diverse range of organisations, from Amnesty International to the National Trust for Scotland.
Training needs analysis
If you already have a pretty good sense of current performance levels, you can carry out a less sophisticated training needs analysis, using questionnaires, interviews focus groups or critical incident analysis.
