Tim GlassTim Glass

Director, The John Ellerman Foundation

Tim moved to the third sector in 2000, following a career in the army and commercial sector. He joined the Guidance Council – a start up national charity seeking to improve the quality of career advice available to people at all stages in their lives.  Two years later he moved to The John Ellerman Foundation where he has been Director for 7 years.

Tim will be speaking at the National Arts Fundraising School in November, to give participants:

  •  An overview of how Trusts and Foundations have responded to the credit crunch
  • An insite into the workings of the John Ellerman Foundation, including how they allocate grants for arts funding
  • Plain spoken advice about how best to approach trusts and foundations

As a fundraiser with 10 years experience, it's difficult to find training which genuinely teaches something new. The National Arts Fundraising School certainly did that throughout and provided inspiration for a new corporate membership programme. I would recommend the course wholeheartedly, to new and experienced fundraisers alike.
