The Committee is dead: long live the volunteer? Tuesday 6 July What's the difference between committees and volunteers and which should you focus on? ARC and =mc share their experience of reviewing regional community fundraising and coming up with a new model for success. Participants will be offered a range of different models on which to base their own community fundraising.
The board's role in major donor fundraising Monday 5 July Major donor fundraising is most effective when you have an engaged, active volunteer fundraising board. But what do you do if you don't? How do you successfully introduce a volunteer led approach and how can your trustee board help? At the end of this session participants will have a range of practical strategies to use in their own organisations – and a clear understanding of some of the potential pitfalls. Think on your feet Tuesday 6 & Wednesday 7 July This session explores a range of tools and techniques that fundraisers can learn to swiftly and effectively respond to challenges. Participants will leave with a toolbox of seven key techniques to use in a range of formal and informal settings, and a boost in confidence when dealing with challenging interactions.
