Project Management

A powerful and systematic model to plan and organise projects

This programme enables you to plan and manage projects so that results are delivered to schedule and specification. You leave with a thorough grounding in =mc's Systems Model. This model, unlike PRINCE 2 and other frameworks, is specifically designed for the not-for-profit environment and is adaptable to any project – short or long-term, simple or complex.

Using =mc's Systems Model for Project Management is now second nature, particularly for planning to tight deadlines and dealing with unexpected challenges. The idea that 'there is no such thing as a bad idea' during intial brainstorming sessions has been quite liberating – I have the confidence to come up with solutions I would never have suggested before.

Workshop

I wasted a lot of time and energy juggling the variety of programmes I run and lacked a systematic process for organising all the different elements. This course introduced me to tools for long and short term planning and I have now planned out all my programmes a whole year in advance! I feel much more confident approaching projects knowing that I have excellent tools to provide structure and focus – leaving me to give 100% to delivering fantastic outcomes.

Jasmine Fassl, Children's Programmer, Scottish Book Trust

I’ve grown to expect great things of =mc’s training, and this inspirational programme certainly lived up to expectations. I immediately put the learning into practice – introducing the Systems Model to the organisation. It has enabled us to develop clear project plans and has had far reaching benefits for the hospice.

Marina Philips, Deputy Chief Executive, St. Joseph’s Hospice

This was an excellently planned and well-delivered programme. The course covers all aspects of Project Management from planning to delivery in a fun, and creative learning environment. It will definitely change the way I’ll manage projects in the future. I would highly recommend it to other colleagues.
