Ele is a passionate and focussed business leader, FCIPD qualified with a wealth of experience across a range of commercial and not for profit sectors including retail, housing, , and social enterprise, all with a strong customer centric ethos. Her customers include UNICEF International where she has been involved with =mc colleagues Bernard Ross and Angela Cluff, in developing the global organisational development plan. She is also working with HS2 where she is part of the team working to create this major piece of UK rail infrastructure. Before that at Co-operative Society HQ she led a major cost reduction programme in the HR function (circa 700 colleagues)
She has worked at Board level informing and developing organisational business strategy and has designed, developed and achieved successful people strategies in growing organisations. She has extensive experience of working with both non-executive boards and executive teams across the full spectrum of HR/OD strategic delivery. Her work has been recognised by achieving Investors in People Gold and Champions status plus securing a place on the 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

I’ve just finished working on the current phase of the UNICEF International Organisational Management Plan- an intense assignment involving helping to design a new fit-for-purpose structure for this global humanitarian organisation. And I am about to start the next phase of my work on the massive HS2 project.
My early career was in retail with Tesco as training and HR manager. I then moved moved into the social housing sphere, ending up as a Group Head of People and Performance at The Aspire Group. Aspire provides housing, training, and neighbourhood and business services. It includes: a registered social housing agency owning and managing 9,000 homes, an education and training company, several social enterprises, a charitable arm and a membership organisation.
As Group Head of People and Performance at Aspire I was responsible for HRD, OD, Business Improvement, performance monitoring and management, Group Facilities and Group H&S (28 colleagues through 4 direct lines).
