Georgina specialises in management development and performance management, with several years’ experience in the sector. Her experience includes working as an HR generalist and managing volunteers. As an HR generalist Georgina provided advice and guidance to managers and staff. She also supported the delivery of various projects and organisational change programmes.
I am currently focusing on upskilling managers at all levels to enhance their ability to successfully manage teams and projects. This includes developing and facilitating feedback training for SCIAF, Project Management skills for WWF and the MS Society. In addition, Management development at Hackney Council, The Round House and Friends of the Earth.
Before =mc I worked in Management, L&D and HR, both in the commercial and third sectors. I provided support to staff and managers on all employment issues, identifying the best solutions in all circumstances. Throughout my career I have achieved the most satisfaction supporting others to improve both professionally and personally. This has drawn me back in to learning and development. Having volunteered extensively oversees and in the UK for third sector organisations, I am inspired by, and really passionate about this sector.
During my career I have had the pleasure to develop and facilitate numerous bespoke learning interventions. A particular focus has been improving organisational effectiveness on team away days. During sessions teams successfully identified ways to improve working, creating shared visions and aligning individual goals with strategic objectives.
I have upskilled managers to lead large change projects with confidence, and facilitate team cohesion / effective performance at all times. Amongst other interventions increasing organisational effectiveness and efficiency, I facilitated project teams in matrix structures, preventing conflict in highly pressured environments.
I am passionate about the huge value of timely and effective training interventions. I understand the enormous impact that individual managers have on individual and organisational performance. I therefore also train and coach managers to improve their interpersonal skills, overall effectiveness, team and individual performance.
