Sam has over 20 years experience of running a top 10 UK marketing group, RAPP, with a breadth of capabilities spanning the full customer experience landscape including digital, direct, data, CRM and tech. Working with a wide range of commercial and not for profit sector clients including Barclays, Dixons Carphone, Post Office, Guide Dogs, Cancer Research UK and UNICEF UK.
Sam’s work focuses on helping organisations achieve their potential through corporate strategies aligned to their vision and the needs of customers. Her work alongside =mc specifically focuses on digital potential and optimising the supporter experience to drive mutual value.
In addition to her RAPP experience Sam also held the role of Managing Director of Sparks & Honey an Omnicom owned cultural insights agency that helps brands and organisations be more relevant, speak more clearly and engage people more powerfully. Her experience can help brands and causes harness culture to connect more effectively with their supporters.
At =mc, Sam has contributed to work with Oxfam GB designed to drive turnaround in income after a long period of stagnation and to develop scenarios to explore future opportunities in the UK’s challenging and competitive fundraising market. She is also working with =mc on other projects including fundraising strategy for the British Red Cross.
Sam spent 20 years leading and managing RAPP, part of Omnicom one of the UK’s largest and leading integrated marketing agencies offering full service marketing solutions across digital, media, marketing strategy, data management, analytics and insight. Key customers included Barclays, Barclaycard, Cancer Research UK, Guide Dogs, NSPCC, Unicef, Post Office and Dixons Carphone.
