Appreciative Inquiry is one of the fastest growing areas of organisational development- helping teams and departments identify how to build out from success and scale up. It is also extremely useful for large-scale engagement exercises among staff or stakeholders as part of a strategic consultation.

Who is the programme for?

This programme is designed for managers or team leaders who want to engage colleagues, volunteers or beneficiaries in a process to improve an aspect of work activity or manage a change process.

Outcomes for you and your organisation

Over an enjoyable and demanding day you’ll:

  • understand the key components of the appreciative enquiry model and how to use it in a work setting
  • link AI to wider processes such as strategic planning, organisational redesign, and team building
  • tackle a specific practical project on AI in the workshop and clarify how to implement the results
  • confidently manage the 5D stages and understand how to manage each of them
  • practice your group facilitation, rapport and problem solving skills as part of the AI process
  • design a large scale engagement event and understand how to shape the inputs and outputs
  • map stakeholders in an AI process and establish the best way to engage them
