Charlotte specialises in leadership development, team facilitation and strategy development.
Charlotte worked for over 20 years in the not-for-profit sector. Before joining =mc ten years ago, she created and implemented a development programme to build the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of partner organisations around the world.
I have just delivered our Strategy Toolbox programme with the World Food Programme, supporting their managers to apply strategic thinking and tools to their work.
I am also currently delivering many online management programmes. These range from our Emerging Managers Programme, supporting new managers in their role to Management Development Programmes for experienced managers, as well as Managing at a Distance to develop and shape effective remote teams. I have been supporting managers at the Council of Europe and have recently launched a modular management programme for The James Hutton Institute for four cohorts of managers.
I am now almost half way through a modular programme for leaders at Local Trust which is running for nine months and focuses on the skills to lead through others and create sustainable impact and change.
Project management remains one of our most popular training programmes. I am currently delivering this online for Into Film aligning the programme with their in-house approach to managing projects.
I have just delivered an Action Learning Set Facilitation programme with Social Work England, supporting staff to become internal facilitators so that they can support their colleagues’ development through group coaching.
I am delighted to be working Opera North, supporting them to develop their organisational values. They are taking a very participatory approach to this, and I am running surveys, interviews and workshops to help them define what is most important to them as an organisation.
Before joining =mc I worked within the international not-for-profit sector in the UK and in Asia, for organisations such as Plan International and World Animal Protection. In my last role I was responsible for leading a global team. We created a development programme for partner organisations to support their long-term sustainability and impact. This involved helping the organisations to run a self-assessment of their capacity. Followed by bespoke support on strategic planning, board development, leadership, fundraising etc.
I am very passionate about the ethical sector and about developing individuals and teams to achieve sustainable results. I also love working with senior management teams, helping them to prioritise, create effective internal collaboration and shape their culture. And overall to remove any obstacles that get in the way of staff delivering excellence.Contact Charlotte Scott
