Charlotte specialises in leadership development, team facilitation and strategy development.
Charlotte worked for over 20 years in the not-for-profit sector. Before joining =mc seven years ago, she created and implemented a development programme to build the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of partner organisations around the world.
Over the last year the whole not-for-profit sector has been adapting rapidly what they do and how they do it. I have the privilege of supporting a range of organisations with Leading Change programmes. As well as helping people respond effectively to change, through our Change and Me programme. I am continuously inspired by how effectively people are adapting, by how proactive, flexible and innovative they are. Not to just do things differently, but to identify and grasp opportunities to do things better.
Like =mc, many organisations continue to work remotely, and I am delivering many online management programmes. These are supporting managers to get the best out of their colleagues while Managing at a Distance and to shape effective remote teams. Over the next few months, I am looking forward to be supporting managers at Options for Supported Living, Possible, CPRE and Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change.
A number of organisations we work with are now running placements for 16-24 years olds through the Government Kickstart Scheme. I am very excited about upcoming programmes I am running to support these people to develop their skills and get the very best out of their placements.
Project management remains one of our most popular training programmes. I am currently delivering this online for the University of Reading, Historic England and Clinks.
Staff development and support continues to be a focus for many organisations. I am providing support for staff at Independent Age and Plan UK through bite size training programmes on a range of skills and resilience
I am also very excited to be running a modular programme for leaders at Local Trust which launched this month. The programme will be running for nine months and focuses on the skills to lead through others and create sustainable impact and change.
Before joining =mc I worked within the international not-for-profit sector in the UK and in Asia, for organisations such as Plan International and World Animal Protection. In my last role I was responsible for leading a global team. We created a development programme for partner organisations to support their long-term sustainability and impact. This involved helping the organisations to run a self-assessment of their capacity. Followed by bespoke support on strategic planning, board development, leadership, fundraising etc.
I am very passionate about the ethical sector and about developing individuals and teams to achieve sustainable results. I also love working with senior management teams, helping them to prioritise, create effective internal collaboration and shape their culture. And overall to remove any obstacles that get in the way of staff delivering excellence.Contact Charlotte Scott
