Charlotte specialises in leadership development, team facilitation and strategy development.
Charlotte worked for over 20 years in the not-for-profit sector. Before joining =mc seven years ago, she created and implemented a development programme to build the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of partner organisations around the world.
I am currently developing and delivering a lot of leadership and management programmes. For example, I am working with the London Borough of Hackney to support managers at all levels with programmes including Transformational Leadership, Advanced Management Skills and Introduction to Management.
I have just launched a modular programme with the Birmingham Hippodrome, called Manage with Flair. The Hippodrome is one of the largest touring theatres in the UK, and is working to an ambitious new strategy. Manage with Flair consists of four modules, delivered a month apart. It is supporting the managers to get the very best from themselves, their teams and each other. I am really looking forward to running the programme three times this year, and getting to meet all their managers.
The start of 2019 has also been very focused on Project Management. I am working with Unicef UK and Versus Arthritis on embedding their bespoke internal project management approach. I am also working on project management with the England Cricket Board – during the year that the Cricket World Cup will be hosted here!
I continue to deliver bespoke facilitated sessions with senior teams. I really enjoy supporting them to develop their strategy and to create a shared approach to leadership.
Before joining =mc I worked within the international not-for-profit sector in the UK and in Asia, for organisations such as Plan International and World Animal Protection. In my last role I was responsible for leading a global team. We created a development programme for partner organisations to support their long-term sustainability and impact. This involved helping the organisations to run a self-assessment of their capacity. Followed by bespoke support on strategic planning, board development, leadership, fundraising etc.
I am very passionate about the ethical sector and about developing individuals and teams to achieve sustainable results. I also love working with senior management teams, helping them to prioritise, create effective internal collaboration and shape their culture. And overall to remove any obstacles that get in the way of staff delivering excellence.Contact Charlotte Scott
