At the moment

I am currently working with an INGO on co-creating their learning and development strategy. This is a collaborative process, working closely with their people to ensure the strategy reflects the organisation’s core priorities and values. The aim is to develop an approach to learning that is both practical and meaningful. One that genuinely enables their people to deliver on their new organisational strategy and grow in their roles.

Alongside this, I am designing and delivering a bespoke programme management training session for a charity organisation. Rather than applying a generic framework, the session has been carefully shaped around the organisation’s own ways of working. This ensures the learning is immediately relevant and can be applied directly to the programmes they manage. The aim is to build consistent, confident and effective programme management practice.

I am also supporting an organisation navigating a period of significant change, including the pressures and uncertainties of a major government retender process. Through a series of facilitated sessions on Managing Change and Navigating Change with Confidence, I am working with their people to build resilience and introduce practical tools. These help them stay focused and effective during a challenging and high-stakes time. The sessions create space for honest reflection as well as practical skill-building, helping individuals and teams feel more in control of their response to change.

Before =mc learning

I started my career in the environmental charity sector developing and delivering community conservation projects before moving on to recruit, train and manage staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service for the National Trust.

Whilst at Sustrans I was the lead project officer working on innovative volunteer-led projects within communities across London, including working with the Greater London Authority (GLA) to raise awareness about air pollution in London. I was responsible for the development and delivery of the Sustrans volunteer strategy across three regions. My love of developing and delivering training programmes supporting volunteers and staff has led me to concentrate on a career in learning and development.
